4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Database Architects to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
What you’ll do
- Develop and support data ingestion pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Analytics to migrate legacy SAP and analytics datasets into Azure data platforms.
- Implement data models, transformations, metadata, lineage, and business rules while ensuring data completeness, accuracy, consistency, and integrity through validation and reconciliation.
- Structure and optimize data within Synapse to meet performance, scalability, retention, and query requirements for defined business use cases.
- Maintain security and compliance controls, troubleshoot data quality issues, document datasets, and communicate risks and issues through established governance processes.
What you bring
- Experience supporting aerospace and defense data environments, including complex enterprise data engineering, analytics, operational, and supply-chain data requirements.
- Experience supporting SAP-sourced enterprise data, including supply chain and operations datasets, SAP BW structures, extraction processes, business keys, metadata, and downstream analytics requirements.
- Experience supporting data migration and modernization initiatives, including legacy platform migration, data modeling, lineage, business rules, reconciliation, validation, data quality, and acceptance testing to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Experience working with enterprise data governance and security requirements, including sensitive data protection, restricted access, data integrity, compliance obligations, risk/issue management, and controlled migration processes.
